Three years ago, Afroboujie (by PICINC) was born from a simple question: why can't luxury and African culture exist in the same space? We saw a gap — upscale experiences that were culturally rich, intentionally crafted, and proudly Black.
We started with intimate dinner events right here in Sacramento, blending Ghanaian hospitality with fine dining presentation. Word spread fast. What began as a passion project quickly evolved into a full lifestyle brand — events, catering, travel, and our beloved food truck serving authentic African street eats.
Today, Afroboujie (by PICINC) is more than a company. It's a movement — a celebration of who we are and where we come from, served in the most elevated way possible.

The Beginning
Afroboujie (by PICINC) was founded in Sacramento with a singular vision: to bring upscale African-inspired experiences to the community. Our first pop-up dinner sold out in 48 hours.
2023
Growing the Culture
We launched our catering division and food truck, bringing authentic Ghanaian and West African street cuisine to corporate events, weddings, and festivals across Northern California.
2024
Taking Flight
Our travel & tours arm debuted with curated trips to Ghana, Senegal, and the Caribbean — selling out every package and earning a loyal following of culture-driven travelers.
